HaaS

Human-As-a-Sensor

Entry-level data transfer for logistics, asset management and other IoT applications

HaaS, an RFID-based system, enhances tracking for logistics, asset management, and IoT applications. It combines efficiency and affordability by tracking non-powered assets and generating on-site reports of activities and stored data.

Semi-passive NFC tags are revolutionising data transmission by eliminating the need for a constant power supply to read sensor values. Our system improves the uptime of your machinery or vehicles, leading to optimal performance and profitability.

Sensing with Semi-Passive NFC tags

On-demand connectivity

Semi-passive tags, a type of RFID technology, offer affordable and entry-level options for data transfer in logistics, asset management, and other IoT applications. These tags provide on-demand connectivity for the Internet of Everything. Their simplified design makes them an excellent choice for cost-sensitive applications.

Semi-passive tags powerful tool that convert raw data into valuable information. Semi-passive NFC tag is an ideal solution for those seeking alternatives to a full telematics approach.

Independent from external power source

Semi-passive NFC tags are emerging as innovative solutions that redefine wireless data transmission. Reading the values of these sensors does not require a constant power supply. This unique feature not only saves energy, but also opens doors to new applications where power sources may be limited or inaccessible. The battery power primarily facilitates sensor readings and data storage, permitting the tag to remain inactive until activated by an external trigger.

High life cycle and durability

One key advantage of semi-passive tags is their low radio frequency emissions when idle.  Since the tag is not continuously emitting radio frequency signals, the battery onboard the semi-passive tag can last longer compared to fully active. This can be advantageous in applications where battery replacement or recharging is challenging. Tags are preferred in situations where power efficiency, reduced interference, and compliance with regulations are crucial considerations.

Tracking non-powered assets

Semi-passive NFC tags rise to the challenge, offering real-time data without which it doesn’t need constant monitoring. Non-powered assets management benefits from the ability to monitor the status and location of valuable equipment.
